If this was vandalism, the shards of broken glass would be in the display case. This glass was piled up to suggest the panda did kick it out from his perspective. Somebody inserted the poster, then the glass was broken in the middle, and piled up carefully.
Probably a promo from the ground up, using Hollywood “Candy” glass. The shards and remaining display window are harmless so as to minimize liability.
