The vast majority of Syracuse is gay friendly. But, occasionally you have people coming out of Brewerton, Jamesville, Marcellus and going all “wrath of god pass the dip can” on the unassuming urbanites. Not to say people from those towns are all like that, it just seems the rare instance of ignorance comes from there… Well, and some of the old Polish district in the Bricks, too… but that’s just ’cause they’re drunks.

In her eyes it probably wasn’t a hateful sign at all. I think she was just trying to help.. its obviously not the best way to “open peoples eyes” but still. I would love this guys idea so much more if the sign had said “I hate gays!” or something. Ya know what I mean? I’ve just been around a lot of different types of people so thats how I think. I’ll always be pro gay though no matter how many Christians try to tell me its a sin. Ok… now I’m just rambling.
Feel free to correct me if you think I’m wrong. I’d like to see other opinions.
