Ever wonder what an urban publicity stunt looked like in 1932? Well, here you go.
Gothamist explains:
The performer is Tiny Kline (who lived from 1891 to 1964), and during her time she was a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus performer, where this type of signature “slide for life/iron jaw” stunt captivated many. Later in life, at the age of 70, the talented acrobat played Tinker Bell in the “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks show at Disneyland.
d.billy added tags reading “past,” “present,” and “future” to three payphones in the Times Square subway station. So if you’ve ever wanted to give the past of the future a ring, now’s your chance.

The always hilarious Rob Lathan has made a Father’s Day video with his new character “Permanent Nutface Gary.” (You may remember Rob as the “Rob!” who couldn’t find his seat at Yankee Stadium.)
The video is partially scripted, but there are some great moments of the character interacting with real people on the streets of New York.
